Hello February!

Hello February!
Welcome.
Another photo from the tea calendar.
Love the old postcards tucked underneath.
I love writing and receiving mail. Don't you?
Like December, February is another good time to keep
keep in touch. What a sweet tea set.

Great saying...
and a pleasant thought when you are having your

indoor picnic.

Another wonderful tea card from my faithful
Canadian friend.

Surprise!
Inside it is a wonderful pop up card.
It reminds me of a special pop-up book from childhood.
Inside the little envelope is a card that reads,
"Thinking of You" in pretty script.
Thank you for thinking of me.

Amongst the tea things I like to collect, are tea tins.

Cute, isn't it?

Round back...
I think tea stays better in a tin.

I have several notes to write today.
As I said, I love sending and receiving snail mail.
I think if you don't send any,
you can't expect to find any in your mailbox.
I think a note can make someone's day.
 Let's see...which shall I use today?
Make it a good day!
Dame Ruthie

What a sweet post! I love your calendar and that beautiful pop-up tea card. The the tea room recipe box is such a darling place to keep recipes for afternoon tea!

Enjoy a wonderful day!

How sweet - older people absolutely love getting notes! Last year 2 older ladies I "kept up with" in nursing homes - passed away. I think it is time to find some others to remember with cards.

I am just looking at the same page in my calendar! Lovely! Thanks for linking to Thursday Tea Things and Talk, and I have just posted my Tuesday Cuppa Tea meme. Have a great week and have a cuppa for me!

Hi Ruthie, I love both the card you received and the one you are sending. I think your tea calendar is fun! Our church has a prayer and notecard ministry. We send out cards to our elderly, and to folks on the prayer list every month. People really appreciate being remembered in this way! Have a great week!
Blessings, Beth

Hi Ruthie, I posted last Friday on my blog that you were the winner of my anniversary giveaway, and asked for your snail mail address so I could mail it to you. I thought I better leave a message here at your blog too, so you'd know you were the winner.
Fondly, Phyllis

Sending and receiving the 'just right' cards is such a cheerful thing. Your cards are charming, Dame Ruthie.
I think the English always have it right about tea, and your tea tin is so cute - all those teapots in the windows. Don't you wish we could go inside...I do! :)

I am enjoying this year's tea calendar as well, and isn't that a gorgeous set this month! I'd love to come across that one day. Love your pop-up tea card -- most unusual!

The tea set on your calendar is pretty, puts me in mind of the pink china Mary Kay used to have years ago.
The pop up card is delightful, and I too like to send, and receive cards.

I love receiving mail, as long as it is not a bill. Cards are wonderful. Blessings.

Your little tea-shop tin in so cute. I love little tin boxes, too. Your Canadian friend has great taste in cards. It's gorgeous. Deb
